The Directorate General, Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) has officially announced a massive recruitment drive for the post of Constable (Technical & Tradesmen and Pioneer) for the year 2026. CRPF Recruitment 2026 Key Dates

Candidates must submit their applications through the official CRPF recruitment portal within the following timeframe:

Vacancy Details

The recruitment aims to fill a total of 9,195 vacancies across various trades.

• Constable (Technical & Tradesmen): 9,175 posts (9,096 for Male and 79 for Female candidates).
• Constable (Pioneer Wing): 20 posts for Male candidates, including roles like Mason and Electrician.
• Reservation: 10% of vacancies are earmarked for Ex-servicemen (ESM).

Eligibility Criteria

1. Educational Qualification (as of January 1, 2026)

• Constable (Driver): Minimum Matriculation (10th pass) from a recognized board and a valid Heavy Transport Vehicle Driving License.
• Constable (Motor Mechanic Vehicle): Minimum Matriculation or 10th pass under the 10+2 system, plus a 2-year ITI certificate in Mechanic Motor Vehicle and one year of practical experience.
• Other Tradesmen & Pioneer Wing: Minimum Matriculation or equivalent. Technical proficiency in the respective trade is required.

2. Age Limit (as of January 1, 2026)

• Constable (Driver): 21 to 27 years.
• All Other Posts: 18 to 23 years.
• Age Relaxation: Permissible relaxations include 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, and 3 years for Ex-servicemen.

Selection Process

The selection will be conducted in multiple stages, and candidates must qualify for each to move forward:

1. Computer Based Test (CBT): An objective type paper with 100 questions covering General Intelligence, Reasoning, General Knowledge, Mathematics, and English/Hindi.
2. Physical Efficiency Test (PET) & Physical Standards Test (PST).
3. Trade Test: To evaluate practical skills in the applied trade.
4. Document Verification & Medical Examination (DME/RME).

How to Apply

1. Visit Official Website: Go to www.rect.crpf.gov.in.
2. Registration: Fill in personal details to generate a registration number and password.
3. Application Fee: Pay Rs. 100/- (General, EWS, and OBC Male candidates only). SC, ST, Female candidates, and Ex-servicemen are exempted from the fee.
4. Upload Documents: Scanned copies of a recent colored photograph (35mm x 45mm) and signature are required.

Important Instructions

• Admit Cards: These will be available for download only on the CRPF website; no physical cards will be sent by post.
• Pay Scale: Selected candidates will be placed in Pay Level-3 (Rs. 21,700 – 69,100).
• Domicile: Candidates must apply for vacancies in their respective States/UTs and provide a valid Domicile/Permanent Resident Certificate during verification.
