The 630 vacancies are distributed across two batches and various specialized roles:

a) CGEPT-01/26 Batch:

Eligibility Criteria for Indian Coast Guard Recruitment 2025

Candidates must meet the specific educational qualifications and age limits to be eligible.

1. Educational Qualification:

  • Navik (General Duty): Class 12th passed with Maths and Physics from a COBSE-recognized education board.
  • Navik (Domestic Branch): Class 10th passed from a COBSE-recognized education board.
  • Yantrik: Class 10th passed from a COBSE-accredited board AND a Diploma (03 or 04 years duration) in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Telecommunication (Radio/Power) Engineering approved by AICTE.

2. Age Limit (as of the relevant dates below):

  • Minimum Age: 18 Years

  • Maximum Age: 22 Years

    • Navik (General Duty) & Yantrik: Applicants should be born between 01 August 2004 to 01 August 2008 (both dates inclusive).
    • Navik (Domestic Branch): Applicants should be born between 01 March 2004 to 01 March 2008 (both dates inclusive).

Age Relaxation:

  • SC/ST Applicants: 5 years relaxation in upper age limit.
  • OBC Applicants: 3 years relaxation in upper age limit.

Indian Coast Guard Salary & Pay Scale
